Promoting agronomic research and sustainable development in the jungle

Consistent with our interest in education and contributing to the training of a new generation of local experts in fine cocoa who will be the pride of Peru, we have signed several agreements with leading universities and research centres to conduct agroforestry studies and projects to develop the next generation of best-in-class practices in environmental sustainability and agronomic research.

This agreement represents an opportunity for students and graduates conduct research and produce new knowledge. We are developing young university leaders, and they will have the opportunity to be exposed to a company that is the only global leader in their activity we have in our region. Scientific investigation is crucial for us.
— Juan Saldaña Rojas, Rector of UCP

Just in 2018 alone, over 100 students and professors have come to experience working and studying in our plantation, including 20 agronomic engineering students from the leading universities in Peru (La Molina, UNAP, UCP, etc.).

We are constantly on the lookout for collaboration opportunities with the best universities and institutions in the world to develop key areas of research geared towards achieving a sustainable, socially responsible cacao production.

Our dream is for researchers, customers, and cacao enthusiasts from all around the world to come to our plantation and experience the magic of the best cacao in the world. And put Tamshiyacu on the world map of the highest-quality cacao.
